Have primarily yourself grounded get and process the information that you can receive by your doctor. Then home, go and share it with your family and love. When I first 1997 was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, I went the next day at the bookstore and bought some self-help books about the disease. It helped me to feel about my situation to find powerful and some solutions to manage better.
You can find books at the bookstore, but you can also go to the library you have access to a tight budget of self-help resources. Is also healing can be in the library, as it often quiet environment.
So, what can you do, to create a support system? Here are a few steps:
(1) An inventory of all people and communities to which they belong. Starting from starting from family and friends to ask for help. This put in a position of vulnerability, but remind people love to help others. People can contribute to your life.
(2) Associations or institutions which diagnosed the disease-related contact been and join a support group. Meet others who have had similar experiences or challenges can be inspiring. You can learn from the journey of another.
3) Do feel something that makes. Be sure to "me" in the schedule time included. Walk, get a massage, enjoy a good meal or watch a movie.
(4) Administer and engage in fitness activities of the group.
5) Educate yourself and others about your illness. So can you and in your life to better understand the disease. Knowledge is making.
(6) And recognition issue be grateful.
Some people are turning to religion or their spiritual beliefs for support. Pray alone is great, but there is power, if you have many people praying for you. When I went for breast surgery in 2008 and was unsure about my future, I asked my Facebook community for me in their prayers to keep. How was miraculously, after surgery, no cancer found! I think the prayers of the community definitely helped.
In not of whether you all take these steps, create a support system or simply just a step. It is important that you take action and feel powerful about your life. Keep in mind it is makes in the Pack, so extend your hand to another today!
